Working for Mamre

Working for Mamre means:

  • supporting Mamre's Charter, Values and Principles of Service
  • actively participating in the Mamre Community
  • building respectful relationships with families of people with a disability
  • believing that people with a disability and their families can have rich and full lives in their communities and are always imagining a better future
  • journeying with them today in partnership, toward that future
  • creatively offering strength to the natural support networks that surround families and people with a disability.

Mamre offers paid employment in casual, part time and full time roles, in positions such as:

Mamre requires all employees to provide References, and to possess a Queensland Working with Children Blue Card.

In addition, it is preferable that staff working in direct support of a person with a disability (e.g. Support Worker) hold a current:

  • First Aid Certificate
  • CPR Certificate

Mamre considers first whether the personal values of applicants match the values of Mamre, as well as their prior work and life experience, and will then recognise an applicant's academic qualifications.
