Inspirit (Activities for positive systemic change)

Mamre’s experience and understanding of what is possible for people with a disability and their families is useful to governments, services and the broader community who are working for positive change.

Inspirit aims to encourage, embolden and inspire governments, services and the broader community to work towards a rich and full life for people with a disability and their families in the community of their choice.

How does it work?

The Director will direct activities towards:

  1. active engagement with the sector to stimulate and contribute to debates important to people with a disability and families.
  2. provision of education and information to develop the capacities of families and service workers.
  3. identification and development of staff and family leaders.
  4. new ideas and service types by hosting or auspicing initiatives.

The Director is the public voice of Mamre and will oversee all Inspirit activities.
